CALIS BEACH This is another unique part of Fethiye where you will never regret being in. Calis is famous for its sea turtles‘ ‘ caretta carettas’’ and irresistable sunsets appearing astonishingly over the bay. It is situated in south western Turkey also being the closest beach to Fethiye town centre. One can drive from Dalaman in 35 minutes to Calis Beach resort and only a 5-10 minute drive will bring you to Fethiye or why not to take a water taxi from Calis Beach to Fethiye Marina.

Although night life here is fairly low-key, you will find a good selection of cocktail bars, a couple of discos, restaurants and bars along the 4 km long stretch of beach.

Only 15 minutes from Fethiye town centre, Ovacik and Hisaronu are surrounded by stunning mountains and lush green pine forests. The once sleepy villages of Hisaronu and Ovacik have combined to create a lively resort which has a distinctly British atmosphere. The nearest beaches are the famous lagoon of Oludeniz also the pebble and sand beach of Belcekiz. A dolmus(small bus) leaves every five or ten minutes. The village has an array of bars, restaurants and shops. This is certainly the place to haggle for any replica designer goods. The cool mountain air can be quite a relief after a day in the sun and there is plenty to do in the evening..
